Harry
and Lynda run Full
Moon Studio in
the Irvine Valley town of Darvel. They specialise in stained glass utilising
the copper foil technique for items such as boxes, lamps and mirrors and
traditional lead work for windows and door panels. Commissions are
welcome large or small. Harry also undertakes repairs of period glass.
They
are happy to welcome visitors to the studioand gift shop where a variety
of items made by other Scottish artists and crafters are also available.
Harry
and Lynda enjoy passing on their knowledge and teach stained glass and
mosaic courses at the studio. They are able to supply tools and materials
for hobbyists.
In
addition Harry and Lynda work with various groups and organisations including
the Department of Community Education and the National Trust for Scotland
running craft classes and workshops. They are also available to give
talks and demonstrations to interested groups.
Harry
and Lynda are members of Acorn (Ayrshire Craft Organisation), Doon Valley
Craft Forum, Kilmarnock Craft Association and Loch Lomond Craft Association. |
